I have developed two custom spreadsheets for real estate agents
and rental property. Both require Excel 2003 or higher and must be downloaded to your computer before you can open them.
Real Estate Agent Spreadsheet - Each tab can record expenses for a different year. Record expenses monthly as your reconcile your check book and credit card statements and the spreadsheet will automatically total and summarize. This can also be used for virtually any profession simply by changing the labels in the first column to fit your needs.
Rental Property Spreadsheet - Each tab can handle each separate address (each address has it's own section on a tax return). Record expenses monthly as your reconcile your check book and credit card statements and the spreadsheet will automatically total and summarize.
